FBI releases photos of two suspects involved in the Boston Marathon bombing

The FBI agent in charge of perations in Boston has released photos of two suspects who are believed to have been involved in the Boston Marathon bombing.

Richard DesLauriers held a press conference today at 7:15am (AEST) revealing the images to the press and public. One notable feature of suspect number two was the white cap that he was wearing. Suspect number one wore a dark coloured cap.

He told reporters that they had received and investigated thousands of tips before narrowing the search down to the two.

News circulated that the bomb had been hidden inside black backpacks. Surveillance footage showed both men walking and talking together before splitting up. Suspect number 2 then set down a bag in front of the building that the explosion had come from.
